StudioBTF is a Vermont-based watercolor studio specializing in ski art, seasonal landscapes, and the quiet beauty of winter—captured in pigment and pen. StudioBTF was founded by a Vermont native who balances technical design with a love of watercolor.
Working in a minimalist line and wash style, each painting explores the stillness of mountain life: snow-covered trees, shifting alpine light, and the rhythm of the slopes. The studio’s current series centers on Northern Vermont ski areas, including Stowe and Jay Peak, with plans to expand south through the Green Mountains and eventually beyond.
Rooted in a deep connection to place, each piece begins with a sketch—sometimes in the field, sometimes from memory—and becomes a study in mood, motion, and quiet observation. The result is artwork that feels grounded, peaceful, and unmistakably seasonal.
